BA Increases Flights To London Phoenix Route Until Oct


Additional Tuesday and Friday flights has been added to British Airways Schedules and from 6 May 2018 , an additional Sunday flight will commence.

BA’s currently daily service from London to Phoenix departs London Heathrow at 02:45am and arrives at Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport at 05:35pm. The additional flight will depart London at 12:15pm and arrive in Phoenix at 03:00pm.


Comair To Renew Fleet , Increase Capacity

The details of Comair’s Fleet Renewal Programme has been announced. Marking the next stage of the airline’s  renewal strategy, which started in 2011.The airline is scheduled to take delivery of the first eight Boeing 737 MAX 8s in early 2019, with the last one due in 2022.
Erik Venter, ceo of Comair, says this will give Comair’s two airline brands, and British Airways (operated by Comair), the benefits of increase seating capacity, lower operating costs and reduced downtime for maintenance.



Bad Weather Delays Travellers Flights At Heathrow

The UK continues to experience severe weather conditions, tens of thousands of passengers have been delayed in London’s Heathrow airport due to flight delays and cancellations.British Airways has come to aide of those affected by the disaster. Every departing aircraft needed to be de-iced prior to departure.More staff has been increased to assist rebooking passengers on to flights or into hotels.

December 11 flights were scheduled to help alleviate the backlog of passengers after consultation with Heathrow Airport and National Air Traffic Services.On December 11 flight BA54 from JNB to LHR was cancelled.Passengers can rebook using,”Manage my booking. “And number of short-haul flights has been added to many of BA flights.

Passengers should check their status on either on the airline’s website, via the app or on a mobile phone. Passengers should not go to the airport if their flight has been cancelled. 

British Airways Allows All Cheaper Airfare Clients To Boards Last

From 12 December 2017, there will be a ” group boarding system”, which will allow clients to check-in and go online or at the airport, where they will be assigned to a group number between 1 and 5. The number, which will be displayed on the boarding pass, will denote the order in which passengers can board. 

First-class passengers and BA Gold Class Executive Club members will reportedly receive the lowest number and will therefore board first.
Silver members and Club World passengers will be able to board second, followed by premium economy and Bronze Club members. Fourth are economy-class passengers and last to board will be those who bought the cheapest hand-luggage-only fares.
