BA Adds Two Daily Flights To Eastern Cape Route

BA (operated by Comair) has up on two new flights to its Johannesburg-Port Elizabeth route.

  • BA6235 departs daily from ORTIA 13h15 and lands at Port Elizabeth at 14h55
  • BA6240 departs daily from Port Elizabeth at 15h35 and lands at ORTIA at 17h10

Luane Lavery, brand communications manager at British Airways (operated by Comair) says the new flights have been introduced due to increased passenger demand.

Extended BA Strike

The crew cabin of BA is to be extended again, including bank holiday weekend from August 26-28, 2017.

According to the guardian, due to long-running pay dispute, Mixed Crew Unite union members are also striking over sanctions against staff who have participated in the labour action up to now. The strike is set to continue until August 30,2017.

British Airways Continues 16-Day Strike

The strike will go ahead from Saturday, July 1, to Sunday, 16.

Passengers will still be able to fly to their destinations despite the strike.

 


BA Staff Hold A Sixteen Day Strike

British Airways is having alot of strikes to meet their cabin crew’s “salary expectations.”

BA has suffered from 26 days of striking since the beginning of the year, forcing it to cancel flights and charter aircraft from other airlines.
The Unite unions suspended a planned four-day strike, hoping to resolve the dispute through fresh talks.

The new strike will be a 16-day strike which will start from Saturday, July 1, to Sunday, July 16, 2017.
