Visitors of Qatar will no longer need to pay or apply for a visa,instead, travellers will be issued with a multi-entry waiver, free of charge, at their port of entry. A valid passport with a minimum validity of six months and a confirmed onward or return ticket must be presented.
The two visa waivers are: firstly, for 33 countries including Austria, Germany, France and the Seychelles.It is valid for 180 days from the date of issue and will allow the holder to spend up to 90 days in Qatar on either a single stay or on multiple trips. Secondly, will apply to South Africa, Canada, America, Australia and the United Kingdom, will be valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The waiver will allow the holder to spend up to 30 days in Qatar, either on a single trip or on multiple trip.The waiver can be extended for a further 30 day period.
