There is an increase in the excess baggage charges from or after   4 January of this year. This only applies to passengers from the UK to South Africa, which is effective on all tickets issued from SAA.

Business-class passengers   will now pay R1490 per item, while Economy-class passengers will have to pay R828 per item.
