There has been a large concern based on flight cancellations on Cemair’s Johannesburg-Plettenberg Bay and Cape Town-Plettenberg Bay routes.
The airline says capacity constraints aside, mismanagement and a lack of infrastructure provision on the part of The Bitou Municipality (BM) in Plettenberg Bay are the real challenges the airline faces with regard to its Plettenberg Bay routes
Cemair has faced with backlogged bankruptcy, which needs to be dealt with by adding a few more aircrafts for the routes or signed code-share with another airline. This will surely reduce the back logs and allow airlines to have a head-start with these airline problems, unless a joint agreement can solve the many problems or someone with geographical knowledge can find new place where these municipal problems don’t occur.
