With the harbor within arm’s reach and the abundance of freshly caught seafood in its restaurants, the V&A Waterfront has a reputation for being the most scenic eating spot in Cape Town. The Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront in Cape Town has sweeping views of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, Table Bay Harbour, the City of Cape Town and Table Mountain.
The new MAReSOL restaurant at V&A Waterfront is set to open in November. The MAReSOL, in the old Hildebrand building at the V&A Waterfront, is the latest addition to the Tourvest Restaurants and Taverns stable.
The restaurant will accommodate 200 guests who will be able to enjoy harbour and mountain views. It will serve a combination of Portuguese and Mozambican cuisine. There will be no shortage of much loved Portuguese flavours to be enjoyed with a glass of Vinho Tinto including old favourites like peri-peri chicken, trinchado and espetadas. Emphasis will be placed on shellfish such as langoustines, crayfish and LM prawns. The building has been architecturally designed by the esteemed Wollf Architects, reflecting the beauty of its surroundings. With its carefully planned layout, design and an enticing menu, you will enjoy not only your food but also your surroundings.
Opening hours are 08h00-22h00 daily. WiFi is available on the premises.
